Goal 17. All students will experience enhanced safety, security, wellness and learning through the completion of facilities, security and technological improvements enabled by financial stability.

Indicator E. We will address safety, crises and emergency needs through continuous prevention, preparation and other security measures.

Subindicator Progress Milestones
A. Annually ensure students and staff have access to an anonymous reporting tip line. Each school was provided posters and other incentives regarding our anonymous reporting lines, PSST World and Courage to Report. The notification lists for the anonymous report line, C2R was updated to ensure school administrators receive alerts immediately so that they can be addressed. School administrators report back to C2R the anonymous report dispositions.

B. Annually ensure that students are provided safety prevention and preparation tools and resources in order to help them feel safe and heard. District will be hosting a Safety Day Camp at Little Creek for all 5-11 grade students selected by their principals to participate and learn about social media etiquette, laws that impact students, conflict resolution, and gun safety. Date scheduled 5/17/2023

C. Annually conduct physical, security site assessments districtwide to ensure that we are utilizing the latest and safest security updates in our facilities. Strategos International performed three site assessments. The remaining sites will be assessed by district staff.
